District 2 - Christina Walker, Piano
Impromptu No. 1 in C Minor, D. 899 - Franz Schubert Christina Walker is a Florida native who now runs a piano studio in the same community that invested in her. After completing a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance at Auburn University and a Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma, Christina returned to Bay County in 2016 to open her studio and take on the role of church pianist at Emerald Coast Fellowship. She enjoys collaborating with her flautist sister Carissa, teaching adjunct at Gulf Coast State College, and accompanying for the local high schools and college. Recently, her studio expanded to include a Mentorship Program, which assists piano students planning to pursue careers in music by providing resources, teaching experience, and pedagogical instruction. Christina also serves as the secretary for the Northwest Florida Music Teachers Association. She and her husband Allen live in Panama City. |

Loni White, Piano
Canadian pianist Loni White has an active performing and teaching career in Florida. Ms. White completed her ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music and many of her students are in the RCM examination program. She is adjunct faculty at Palm Beach State College and is the president of the PBCMTA.

Lehins Aragon, Violin
Lehins Aragon is from Venezuela and studied in the renowned music program El Sistema. Known for his versatility on violin, Mr. Aragon performs with many famous classical and popular musicians, most recently playing in the Florida tour of Game of Thrones. Mr. Aragon and his wife, Loni White, are co-founders of LaRae Music Academy located in Palm Beach County.

Hristo Popov, Violin
Dr. Popov is the Founder and Violin Professor at Bellissima Music Academy in Florida. He is described as "virtuoso-violinist extraordinaire" (Musical Horizons) and his Carnegie Hall debut was hailed by The Strad Magazine as “…alert and energetic.” Dr. Popov is the secretary of the PBCMTA and the treasurer of the FSMTA District VI.

Carlos Audi, Cello
Dr. Carlos Audi has performed numerous solo and chamber concerts in the United States, Germany, Austria, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Argentina, and Brazil. In addition, he has been a member of several orchestras in Brazil and in the United States such as the Orquestra Sinfônica de Santo André, the Orquestra Experimental de Repertório, the Orquestra Sinfônica da Universidade de São Paulo, the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tallahassee, Augusta and Albany Symphony Orchestras, and the Opera Tampa Orchestra.
Dr. Audi was born in Brazil where he started his music studies at the age of seven and currently holds a Doctor of Music degree from the Florida State University. His main cello teachers were Maria Cecília Brucoli, Zigmunt Kubala, Robert Suetholz, Robert Jesselson and Lubomir Georgiev. He also has attended master classes with renowned cellists such as Janos Starker, Alan Harris, Timothy Eddy, Steven Doane, Peter Rejto, Sara Sant’Ambrogio, and Antonio Meneses.
Audi has performed in the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo as a finalist of the Orquestra Experimental de Repertório’s Concerto Competition.
Dr. Audi is on the faculty of Florida College, Hillsborough Community College, and Hillsborough County Public Schools, and is a sought-after master class presenter, adjudicator, and lecturer.
Adam Booher, Piano
Pianist Adam Booher’s musicianship has been described as “thrilling,” and “full of emotional energy” (NashvilleArts). Mr. Booher performs regularly with cellist Carlos Audi, with recent and upcoming concerts occurring at universities and recital halls in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. Mr. Booher serves as Professor of Music at Florida College, where he teaches applied piano and music theory. He collaborated with the Florida College Chorus in concert at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium in 2018.
Mr. Booher serves as Vice President of Florida’s MTNA Competitive Events and is District 9 Treasurer. He regularly adjudicates state and district competitions and National Federation of Music Clubs Auditions. Awards include first place in the “Intersection of Jazz and Classical Piano Festival” at West Virginia University, as well as top MTNA prizes at state and division competitions. Mr. Booher received the M.M. in performance from Florida State University, where he studied with Joel Hastings.
