Joy Thurmon holds both the Doctor of Musical Arts degree and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Lipscomb University. Her primary teachers include Johana Harris, Enid Katahn, Jerome Reed, Leonard Mastrogiacomo and Read Gainsford. A prizewinner in several competitions, she has also performed in master classes for Paul Badura-Skoda, Ursula Oppens, Misha Dichter, Anne Marie McDermott, Ilya Itin and Emauel Ax, among others. Joy has performed extensively as a solo and chamber artist throughout the United States, Canada, Peru, Norway, France, and Turkey. A passionate advocate of new music, Joy has performed works by Aaron Jay Kernis, John Corigliano, John Adams, Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, Cristina Spinei and Michael Ippolito. She has presented for Tennessee Music Teachers Association and Florida Music Teachers Association, as well as guest lecturer at other institutions. Her students have been recipients of honors at the local, state and regional levels. Joy has served on the piano faculties at Belmont University, Lipscomb University, Florida College and Pepperdine
Zulfiia O. Tursunova is a US-Ukrainian pianist, composer, conductor, and educator. Tursunova received her BA in Psychology & Music at New College of Florida and MM in Music Composition, Instrumental Conducting, and Healthy Musician Performance at University of South Florida. As a piano performance teacher and the founder of Sarasota International Music Institute, Tursunova incorporates a healthy mix of cognitive and biomechanical tools to emphasize student-centered learning. Her background in psychology, music pedagogy, piano performance, and dance/corrective exercises training led Tursunova to develop an integrative music performance/education approach based on psychophysiological and biomechanical data processing and injury prevention techniques.
Dr. Kyungju Park Lee is a concert pianist and teacher who started piano at the age of 3. She received BM degree from Yonsei University in Korea, DM and MM from Florida State University under the tutelage of James Streem and Karyl Louwenaar, and Performance Diploma from Indiana University with Edward Auer. She had master classes with renowned pianists such as Theodore Lettvin, Garrick Olson, Gyorgy Sebok, Andre Watts and Santiago Rodriguez. She won numerous prizes and scholarships such as Willa Chapman Piano Competition, Florida State University Young Artist Competition and Dong-A National Music Competition, Academic Scholarship of Rotary International and Samick Scholarship for Outstanding Performer. She has performed as soloist with Gunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea and Florida State University under the baton of Phillip Spurgeon and Donald Schleicher from University of Illinois. She was one of the performers of 220 musicians in 7 countries of Scarlatti Marathon: Festival Internacional Música de Tecla Expaňola to celebrate Scarlatti’s 556 keyboard sonatas. She also served as an instructor many years at Honors Piano Camp of Florida State University and invited to judge Young Musicians Concerto Competition hosted by Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
Award-winning pianist Jiwon Baik brings sensitivity and fresh thinking to her playing appearing as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the US and South Korea.
Dr. Jiwon Baik has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras, Ohio State University Orchestra, Whorthington Orchestra, and Hanyang University Orchestra. She won numerous competitions such as Graves Music Competition, MTNA Competition, The Ohio State Piano Concerto Competition and Korean Times Competition. She was a recipient for Nohl Trent Scholarship, Chataqua Music School scholarship and academic scholarships during her doctoral and master’s studying.
She received Doctoral of Music from Florida State University and Master of Music from The Ohio State University. Also she has studied in St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia under the great pianist Elena Shishiko.
She was one of the performers of Scarlatti Marathon Concert: Festival Interacional Scarlatti’s 556 Keyboard Sonatas. She also served as an instructor many years for piano and piano pedagogy department at Florida State University. Currently she is a pianist/organist at Intercession Episcopal Church at Thornton, Colorado and teaching privately.

Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, a member of the boards of the Arts Foundation of Martin County, the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, the Boca Symphonia, and the r Student Foundation, has had an illustrious and versatile career as a performing musician and professor of music at Principia College (Elsah, Illinois) for over 35 years as the Charles Stewart Harding Mott Distinguished Professor of Music and recently Professor Emerita of Music, upon retiring in 2014. Earning her doctorate from Yale School of Music, she has served as Chair of the Frances Blaisdell Scholarship competition established by the National Flute Association in 2010 to honor one of the most important mentors in Marie’s life.
She has been recognized for her career-long leadership in the arts by receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Arts Council, the Woman of Distinction Award from Soroptomist International, the Community Service Award from the Daughters of theAmerican Revolution, and the 2017 winner of the Sage Award for outstanding contribution to the arts in Martin County. She was recognized internationally in August 2022 by receiving the National Flute Association Golden Anniversary Award for her lifelong career in music. Her entrepreneurship continues locally with the establishment of the “Sunset Concerts @ the Gallery” held at the Arts Council of Martin County Cultural Center and the Jureit Musicales presenting great musicians from around the world. An active leader of performing arts trips both in this country and abroad for Principia, she has helped lead the Arts Council of Martin County’s first “cultural excursions” trips to Tanglewood in July of 2018, Santa Fe in 2019, and Sarasota in 2021. She recently returned as guest lecturer/performer on cultural trips to the heart of Europe and Japan.

Daniel Perkins was born in Pensacola, Florida and started studying piano with the help of his sister at age 5. He has played for weddings and school events since he was 9, and now studies under Dr. Hedi Salanki at the University of West Florida. He recently graduated with a Bachelors in Music Performance and plans to go on to get a Masters. In 2018, he won first place at the Lancaster International Piano Competition and performed Chopin’s Concerto no. 2 with the Millersville Symphony Orchestra, and gave a solo recital and the Hamilton Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Jueun Kim Warf earned her bachelor’s degree from Kosin University in Busan, South Korea. She Earned a Master of Arts in Music at Campbellsville University in Kentucky. In 2011 she completed a Masters in Violin Performance through the University of Florida with full scholarships and graduate assistantship.
While pursuing higher education, Jueun won first place in the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) Competition in Kentucky and won second place in Macauley Chamber Music Competition. Additionally, she won the concertmaster position for KMEA (Kentucky Music Education Association). Orchestra.
Ms. Jueun was a soloist with: Campbellsville University Orchestra, Campbellsville University String Chamber, Busan Symphony Orchestra, Kosin University String Chamber, Busan National Orchestra and The University of Florida.

Ms. Eun Young Park has played the piano since she was 5 years old. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Chung-Ang University in Seoul,South Korea. Her career consists of vocal, opera and instrument accompaniment. Ms. Park has also been a private piano music teacher over the past 20years. Currently, she is the head accompanist at the Gainesville Korean Baptist Church.
Erin K. Bennett is Associate Professor of Piano and Pedagogy and Keyboard Area Coordinator at the University of North Florida, where she has twice been the recipient of the university’s Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. During her summers she serves on the piano faculty at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan, and was formerly Co-Director for the Beaujolais Chamber Music Workshop in France.
As a performer, Dr. Bennett has appeared throughout the U.S. and in Europe. As a member of the trio Serafini Brillanti, she performed across America and in France, and recorded a CD featuring works by living composers written for the soprano-trumpet-piano trio. As a soloist, she has performed on several occasions with the UNF Orchestra and Wind Symphony, as well as the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra, and in collaboration with members of the Oregon Mozart Players.
As a performer, Dr. Bennett has appeared throughout the U.S. and in Europe. Korean-American pianist Sun-A Park made her orchestral debut with the New Jersey and Houston Symphony Orchestras. Since then, Sun-A has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., Tel Aviv Museum of Art in Israel, Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Spain, Bass Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, Alice Tully Hall and the Juilliard Theater in New York.
As an active soloist and recitalist, she has collaborated with conductors including Peter Oundjian, Eiji Oue, Arthur Hagen, and Krzysztof Urbanski. Sun-A has performed with the Yale Philharmonia, Albany Symphony, Sendai City Orchestra, San Marino Republic Orchestra, Orchester Haydn, Hannover Hochschulorchester, Symphonic Orchestra of Castilla y León and Orquesta Ciudad de Granada. Her recording of early keyboard sonatas by Muzio Clementi is released under the Naxos label in July 2019.

Dr. Ayako Yonetani is an internationally acclaimed violinist and music educator. Born in Japan, she began her musical journey at a young age, eventually earning her doctorate from the Juilliard School in New York City. As a highly accomplished performer, Dr. Yonetani has captivated audiences in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. Her extensive chamber music experience includes collaborating with renowned ensembles and participating in various music festivals.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Yonetani holds a professorship at the University of Central Florida and has previously taught at the Aspen Music School as assistant to the renowned the late Miss Dorothy DeLay. Her influence extends globally through masterclasses and workshops, inspiring countless aspiring musicians. Dr. Yonetani's recordings have received critical acclaim and showcase her versatility as a performer. She is currently the director of the Pegasus String Quartet Graduate Program.

Nadiya Caspary, pianist, originally from Ukraine, graduated from FSU College of Music under Doctor Carolyn Bridger in accompanying in 2007. She is also a graduate of Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kiev in piano performance and her extensive career has taken her to France, Canada, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria. She performed as a pianist member of Chernivtsy Symphonic Orchestra and Chamber Classical Group ”Consonans”. From 1989-1999 Nadiya Caspary served as a Chairwoman of Accompanying and Chamber Ensemble Board of the College of Music in Chernivtsy, Ukraine. She is Florida resident and freelance accompanist and coach at FSU College of Music in several departments. She has performed with well-known Ukrainian violinists Pavel Chobotov, Lyudmila Shapko, Alexander Gonobolin; singers Dmytro Gnatyuk, Vasil Gerello, Valentina Stepova, Alyona Kistenyova and Ruslan Zinevich. In February 2011, Nadiya Caspary performed a recital with singer Shawn Puller for former US President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter in his hometown of Plains, Georgia on Valentine’s Day.

Claire Goodwin, soprano, is from North Carolina and is a dedicated and passionate Junior voice performance major at Florida State University studying with Dr. Sahoko Timpone. In July, Claire traveled to Tuscany, Italy to study and perform at the Lunigiana International Music Festival. The previous summer, Claire performed as an ensemble member in Opera Maine’s production of Wagner’s Der fliegende holländer. She has participated in numerous competitions, including the annual FFMC Collegiate Voice Competition in Gainesville, Florida where she received First place earlier this year. She was also a finalist at the NATS Southeastern Region competition in 2022 and 2023. In 2021, she was a finalist in the Schmidt Vocal Arts Competition. She has been studying voice for nine years and outside of music, she enjoys swimming, exercising, and exploring nature. As Claire’s musical journey continues, she is committed to honing her craft and sharing her passion for music.
