MTNA Competitive Events

The MTNA National Competitions are the most successful and prestigious student competitions in the country. These include various Performance and Composition Competitions, each consisting of either two tiers (Division and National rounds) or three (State Level preceding Division).

Performance Competitions in Piano, Piano Duet, Strings, and Woodwinds are three-tiered, with the state round held annually in the fall. Each year FSMTF presents monetary awards to student winners of Florida MTNA Competitions. Single entrants in an event will automatically advance to the online Southern Division Competitions but are not eligible for monetary awards.

See the links below for further details about these events, and for information about the two-tiered contests: Brass and Voice Performance Competitions, Composition, Chamber Music, and the MTNA-Stecher and Horowitz Two Piano Competition.
