2020 Conference Honors Recital
Honor’s Recital: Sept 30 Deadline and NO Entry Fee for MTNA member
This recital is open to DISTRICT ONE and DISTRICT TWO only. Video submissions may feature soloists,
piano ensembles, concertos, or chamber music. Additional Video Submission Guidelines:
Applications should include a photo, a bio (not to exceed 150 words), and a web link to a video recording
for each recital. All applications, videos, and entry fees are due September 30. Make payment using the PayPal button below, and submit the Student Recital Registration form below.
Pieces should be memorized. For the Video, students should announce their name, title and composer of their piece, play, then stand up and bow.

- Videos of chamber music of piano ensembles must have all performers visible the entire performance.
- For individual movements of a larger work, label with title, Roman numeral of movement and composer. Ex: Sonata in C Major, K. 545, I., Mozart.
- Entry fee $0 for students of MTNA members; Students of non-members must also submit a nonmember teacher fee of $20.
- Entry levels are:
- Junior................up to age 12
- Intermediate......age 13 to 15
- Senior...............age 16 to 19
- Collegiate..........student enrolled in a FL college or university
- For each level, students may play up to two pieces/movements with a total time limit of 10 minutes.
- Applicant age categories are determined by the contestant’s age as of September 1, 2020.
- Adjudicator(s) have the right to select more than one performer from an age category, or to refrain from choosing a performer from a given entry-level. One entrant in a category does not automatically guarantee selection for performance.
- In the case of chamber music or piano ensembles, use the average age of all ensemble members as of Sept. 1 and round up to the nearest whole number.
