Stephanie Greco,
MTNA Young Artist Strings winner
was born in St. Petersburg, FL, where she began playing the
violin at the age of seven. She attended performing arts schools
from first grade until her graduation from High School.
Stephanie is a senior music education and violin performance
major at Florida State University where she studies with Beth
Newdome. She has served for two years as the concertmaster of
the University Philharmonia and currently plays in the
University Symphony, Opera Orchestra, and the Tallahassee
Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys continuing her music education in
the summers and has attended festivals such as Lyrica Fest, Hot
Springs Music Festival, and Aria International Music Academy.
Most recently, Stephanie is the winner of the Florida Young
Artist String Division for the Music Teachers National
Association. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys shopping and
cooking.
