Caitlin Collier is 12 years old and is in the sixth grade at Jacksonville Country Day School.  Caitlin began playing piano at the age of five. She studies piano and music theory with her teacher Denise Homsley.

She has participated in the Jacksonville District Student Day for the past two years and has received District Student Day Honors in Performance, Written Theory and Aural Theory.

Besides her love of piano, Caitlin has many other interests. She loves to snowboard, ski and skateboard. She plays competitive basketball and soccer. She has participated in numerous soccer tournaments this year and her team has finished first in every tournament. Most recently, her team placed first at the Seminole Girls Fall Festival Soccer Tournament in Orlando.

Caitlin looks forward to continuing to foster her love of piano. She recently took an interest in composing and entered her first composition competition with her piece entitled “Spanish Dance”.
