Jameson Kuang, Senior Piano Honorable Mention winner was born in Manhattan, NY. He started learning the piano from his sister Diana at the age of eight before studying with Dr. Gerson Yessin of the University of North Florida for three years. Jameson is now a student of Dr. Michael Rickman, Professor of Stetson University, Deland. He has received 1st place in the Florida MTNA State Concerto Competition in 2005 and 2nd place in 2008, and attended the Schlern International Music Festival of Bolzano, Italy in 2007. He regularly plays in concerts and masses with the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Music Ministry in Palm Coast, where he resides.

Jameson is in 11^th grade at St. Joseph Academy, where he is a competitive swimmer and part of NHS and the music ministry. He also loves biking, animals, playing guitar, and being outdoors with friends and family.
