Senior Piano Concerto Competition: 2nd Place

Gabrielle Chou was born in Florida in 1995. She is an accomplished violinist, pianist, and composer. She studies piano and music theory with Maria Gomez, violin with Carol Cole, and composition with Donald Waxman.

Since 2005, Gabrielle has been a soloist with Coral Gables Chamber Symphony, Boynton Regional Symphony Orchestra, Alhambra Orchestra, and Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra.

Since 2000, Gabrielle has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors in the state and national competitions. She also received prizes at "the 10th Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists" in Germany, ''the12th International Taipei Chopin Piano Competition" in Taiwan, and "the 2nd Manchester International Piano Concerto Competition" in England.

Gabrielle has played for Orlando Cole, Lang Lang, Murray Perahia, Susan Starr, Elmar Oliviera, Robert McDonald, and many other prominent musicians.
