Intermediate Strings Concerto Competition: Honorable Mention
Victoria Senko,
a student at Millennium Middle School, began learning violin at age 5
with Andrea Williams. She presently studies with UCF professor, Dr.
Ayako Yonetani. She has studied chamber music at "Soundfest" with the
Colorado Quartet two years and played at the Strings International Solo
Performance Camp with the Philadelphia Orchestra two years. Victoria has
performed in masterclasses with Kim Fisher, Elena Urioste, and Michael
Klotz. Locally, Victoria has been invited to perform at many community
and school events including "Arts Alive in Seminole." She was a member
of the Florida All State Orchestra in 2010 and was its principal second
in 2011. She has been concertmaster of the Millennium Middle School
Vivace Orchestra for the past two years. In addition to serving as
associate principal second violin of the FYAO, she has performed with
the Winter Park Chamber Music Academy. Most recently, Victoria performed
as a Virtuoso Competition winner with the Florida Young Artists
Orchestra and
she has also received a scholarship to
study at the Cannon Music Camp at Appalachian State University.
