Junior Piano Concerto Competition: 2nd Place

Kelly Wu, 11, a 6^th grade honor student at Gulf Breeze Middle, Gulf Breeze, started piano lessons with Ms Rachael Hyer at 5 and currently studies with Mr. Daniel Nagy since 2008.  From Baroque music to Jazz, Kelly plays wide varieties of piano music.  For Kelly, playing the piano is soothing and meanwhile expresses herself beyond words.  Kelly also takes ballet lessons, violin lessons and enjoys reading, painting, boating, and swimming at leisure.  Already travelling to China every summer, Kelly’s biggest wish is to visit Spain someday.  Being particularly interested in math and arts, she wants to be an architect, or naturally, a pianist in the future.
