Intermediate Piano Concerto Competition: Honorable Mention

Justin Ma is a fourteen-year-old freshman in the International Baccalaureate program at Palm Harbor University High School. He began playing piano at the age of seven. In 2009, he was the alternate winner in the junior piano division of the FSMTA District IX Competition.  During the 2010 FFMC Junior Convention, he won the Piano Duo Moderately Difficult II level, and received the honorable mentions in Piano Duet Moderately Difficult II and Piano Solo Moderately Difficult III. he has accumulated 5 other 1^st place titles and 5 other Honorable Mention titles in various events at previous Junior Conventions (a total of 13). He currently studies with Vladimir Khokhlov.
