Charles (Patrick) Lahan, MTNA Young Artist Piano Honorable Mention winner is from Laguna Beach, Florida. He began studying piano at the age of five with Tanya Brooks. In middle school, he began studying with Sally Christian. In 2000, he graduated from Bay High School and pursued a degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Patrick graduated in December of 2005. He then returned to his education by entering Florida State University in 2007. At FSU, he studies piano performance with Leonard Mastrogiacomo.
