Brandon Richman, Elementary Composition Representative winner is 10 years old and has been playing piano for 4 years. He started studying under his grandmother, Esther Richman, who soon recognized his talents for composition. For the past two years, Brandon has been studying under Professor Donald Waxman. Brandon won second place in the Florida Federation of Music Clubs with his very first composition, Dance of the Giants and won first place the next year with Indian Attack. The Rings of Uranus is his third composition which started out as school project when he was doing a report on the planet Uranus. Brandon is now a 5^th grade honors student at Westchester Elementary School and has performed for his school on numerous occasions. Besides music, he plays tennis and enjoys playing video games with his two older brothers.
